Came home and look what snapped off in the door. Luckily I am still lithe enough to jump over the garden wall and have neighbours cool enough to let me.

And the clouds cleared to show us Jupiter above Orion. Jupiter is the closest to Earth than it's been for a decade and is very bright. Tomorrow night it will be in opposition. Had to get Orion in for perspective.

@alicewinterhold.bsky.social I had an acc. a while back then forgot it. Someone recently said to me that they thought my aim in life was to have less friends. I told them they were utterly wrong. It's fewer friends, not less. I won't be very interesting to follow but would be honoured all the same.
