Canine lymphoma took my baby girl Jamaica away from me too — 12/31/2024. She fought it as hard as she could, but eventually I saw the same things with her that you did with Bode. It was time.
We’ll miss them forever. But we’ll never forget the ways they made our lives so much better.

Three years. Three years fighting canine lymphocytic leukemia. Three years with a prognosis of “six months, a year if she’s lucky”.
The cancer finally won in the end. I fulfilled my promise — she went peacefully, without pain.
Goodbye, Jamaica. I love you.

Dog was so deeply asleep this morning that she let me pet her for a full five minutes before finally waking up.
Poor girl’s getting on in years — turns 13 in February. But I will love her every minute she has left to give.
