Spa day in the mountains today! No pictures allowed inside of course, but lots of hot tub and cold plunge time. Back home first thing tomorrow.

I got the first part of my Vtuber design commission back from the artist! After asking permission, heres the pic! They're also doing a version without the coat and a casual version. They're a Puffin-Inspired angler.

Last week I was able to get my first commission accepted on VGen! I've never ordered art before so I'm pretty excited about it. I eventually want to try Vtubing so it's the first steps to getting that ball rolling.

God I had an absolutely incredible strawberry pun for an image my wife shared me only to be told they were in fact meatballs so it was a miss. Suffering. Torment, if you will.

Started Playing Tactical Breach Wizards today. It's kind of an Xcom light, though everything resets between encounters, so its more of a puzzle game than tactics like I hoped. Surprised by how funny the writing has been.

Oh, also watched a video on interior design today that really got me thinking on what to do with the empty space that is my living room for the last few years. Plants, Layers, Lights and Textures seem to be the key points, so i'm hitting the IKEA this weekend.

I've been playing a lot of Marvel Rivals over the last few weeks, but I just don't have much interest in ranked. Maybe i've just gotten older but I just don't have much of a stomach for online toxicity like I used to, regardless of the shiny rank medal telling folks how good I am.

Kind of embarrassing moment today. I had a haircut, went with the clean shave, however when I put on my beanie it was pretty tough to put on. The stubble was like a grip on it. So, when i got home and took it off, i grabbed the top and accidentally tore the inner liner!

Food sickness is not how I imagined I'd start my holiday but thats what I get for "winging it" when it comes to cook times.

Busy week! Wrapped up my 55 session tabletop campaign with the Monster of the Week system and did a company holiday party tour at a gelato factory where I made a custom flavour! Going to spend the weekend getting some R&R.

Well I learned yesterday that going to the gym then trying to come back and sleep was a terrible combination as I was completely awake for the rest of the night. On the one hand, went to the gym when I said I would. On the other insomnia. Need to do better for Saturday.

Work laptop crapped out mid meeting, massive snowday and I got zero sleep last night. Sometimes I wish I could just say "hey boss, mulligan. It's a no go for me. I'll see you tomorrow."

"So why am I here?" I asked.
The lead DM's me "they suck at taking notes." I'm in corporate hell, I swear.

Need to write the finale session for my Monster of the week game tonight. Finales are always a bit weird in TTRPGs because it's rare that there are mechanics for endings, but narratively it's super important. It always feels like a push pull of needs and wants when it comes to these stories.

Difficult weekend unfortunately. Took a couple of days off but a distant family member passed in the middle of it. Now i'm going to be going back to work more stressed then when I started the long weekend.
