I feel like the comma in this post is misplaced, which is incredibly unimportant compared to the work you do, but I decided to make this comment anyway just to drive up your engagement. Anyone agree with me about the comma or am I wrong?

It's dropped $15 since I posted and is now negative over 6 months. Wild.

It's plummeted past the election bump and is now negative going back 6 months

If you want the dem party to move further to the left, then support progressive candidates in primaries. Until progressives can actually win dem primaries, wanting the party as a whole to move left because that will somehow magically help them win general elections seems paradoxical.

This is because DOGE hasn't actually cut anything yet. They get to look like they support sticking it to the system for now. But as soon as Musk actually tries to cut funding to their districts, they'll have something to say. I mean, they haven't even started debating this year's budget.

If your principles allow people to suffer when you could help them, you should strongly reconsider your principles.

So you think democrats should sacrifice some people that they could potentially save from deportation (actual human beings) so they can look strong at the polls in 2026? I think that's both insanely cruel and also terrible politics. Sorry if I'm twisting your argument but that's what I'm hearing.
January 26, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Im sorry to argue but I just have to be clear. Are you honestly telling me that if you had the option to save some people from deportation, but not all, you'd just let the small group of people be deported? And why exactly? Because of politics?
January 26, 2025 at 7:37 PM
So if we can't save everyone from deportation we shouldn't support all efforts to save some people from deportation?
January 26, 2025 at 7:04 PM
So you WANT the people she is trying to save from deportation to actually be deported? Because the people she is trying to help should be enough reason to support her, at least in this effort.

Why does someone have to be "at fault" in a divorce anyway? Can't you just get divorced because you want to?

Lol, $TRUMP coin will be the official US currency in 6 months.

A decent first step would be ending the paywall that 99% of research sits behind. Of course most people won't have the skills to fully understand it, but how in the world can we expect people to "trust the science" when they aren't even allowed to read it?
