I battled some COVID this week but nothing could stop me from seeing NIN for the 10th time. Unequivocally a phenomenal show.

We brought Ghost home today. It's nice to have him home. I miss him terribly but I came across this photo today and I'm just so happy I had him in my life.

Given how fairly bleak the world feels lately, I've been trying to take the time to appreciate moments like this. Nucky just enjoying the sunshine.

Goodbye bear bear, we love you. You were the best boy.

We've scheduled Lap of Love for Friday morning. It's time, it's been a rough week mobility wise but he's resting comfortably. We're having some friends stop by to visit tomorrow night to say goodbye. It's super hard, but it's the right thing. I'm gutted but he's had and amazing life and he's loved.

We're getting to the end, I think. Sedated x-rays on his paws and chest tomorrow. Prepared for lap of love on Friday. Arthritis and time unfortunately is too great a foe for the big man.

Bummed by this but extremely grateful I got to see him play with PJ 25 times, as well as see Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and MC5. Fuckin legend.

3 weeks in a cone due to some infected paws. First day cone-less. We're doing okay.

Ghosty is doing much better and it looks like his paw is healing and he seems like his happy self again

Rough weekend for my dude. His arthritis shot didn't kick in until last night and now he's got a cone for a paw infection. We had a good mobility day though. #seniordogs

This man's gotcha date was 12 years ago yesterday. Which makes him 13. Every day with this lovely dude is a gift
