prefer the more noisier sounds of psychocandy, but the sense of melody on that album is still on this, and as a result this thing is still really damn great.

insanely manic music that happens to be fucking insanely well written and insanely well performed. some of the best vocals i’ve ever heard on a post-hardcore album ever. love this

fuckin wow. this is stellar, but also a fucking lot. super eclectic genre wise, with horrorcore to alt rock songs, great production, and some of the most fucked up lyrics i’ve heard in hip hop. incredible, but Jesus Christ

this is great. i was shocked at how damn huge this album sounds, feels like an entire damn stage production. goth rock can definitely be a bit hit or miss to me, but this is definitely a hit.

this is the SHIT. absolute 80s pop perfection on this thing. insanely lush production, stellar hooks, and one of the best senses of melody i’ve heard in a pop album. it is a bit frontloaded, but still, incredible

ferraro's first album in his “nihilistic r&b era”. very dark, but kinda danceable production on this. i do think the vocals can very much be better though, but it is still really great

some absolutely stunning stuff. ecco’s side is better, but bladee still delivers some great shit. probably my favorite thing i’ve heard from drain gang.

dizzee rascal - boy in da corner (grime/british hip hop)
a little bit long, but a very great time. the production on this is kinda fucking insane, and rascal's rapping and delivery is absurdly intense. makes me wanna check out more grime.
