WYFCS is collecting donations for a new food pantry serving southern Worcester County. Donation boxes are available at all Worcester County Library locations through April 1. Needed items include canned goods, protein bars, toiletries, and baby supplies. Please give if you can—demand is high!

The OPA Board approved the FY 25-26 budget on Saturday. The plan includes $12.8M in operating revenues/expenses and sets the basic assessment at $875.

Board members praised the GM and his team for their hard work and transparency throughout the process.

MDE has issued an emergency closure for shellfish harvesting in Manklin Creek following a sewage spill on Feb. 7. The closure, effective immediately, was enacted to protect public health and will remain in effect until March 1.
