From Future's perspective, it has one clawed arm grasping Sim Young's shoulder while the other hovers above his other shoulder as if reaching, waving, or hesitant to touch. Blue-white pixel artifacts float where his sleeve is pushed up on that arm, though his arm itself is obscured aside from a flash of blue. Sim Young is frowning and looking away, and has his knees to his chest. The area around his face is a more saturated blue than the rest of the image, boxed off in a square shape suggesting a selection on a screen. Enclosed below in a white box floats text reading "Emotion is real, and it swings and it sways / In time we'll roll and tie up all those feelings away" Sim Young is floating upside down, covering his face as if hiding tears. White stylized pixel artifacts float around him, and Future stretches an arm across the page to grab his ankle. The page is darker and the background more distorted and visually noisy than the previous pages, and Sim Young is a ghostly white. The all caps, distorted text over the page reads "It doesn't really matter, does it? Future is behind him, reaching for him with one arm. Above them float the vague, sinister forms of the Project Paidion dev team as well as Sayer, who i shown as a bisected pyramid with a glowing star as an eye. Text at Sim Young's feet reads "You" Sim Young, drawn in a simplified style, and Future are side by side holding hands. Future is looking at Sim Young and Sim Young looks back with a pensive expression. been a while since i've posted any of #MyArt but!!! here's a #SayerPodcast sim young + future fanzine i made ft lyrics from @dreampuzzles.bsky.social's "aquapet sunset"!! 1/2, will link song in replies

finally made a kitty shelter for next to our house bc i keep seeing paw prints in the snow and getting sad :((( i would have preferred to use plastic over cardboard but we didn't have a good sized tub for the inside + it won't be above freezing for a while

incredible takes coming out of tumblr lately. wild just seeing people admit openly that they not only believe that they are immune to propaganda, but that those who point propaganda and author biases out are Wrong and Stupid
"Honestly, as much as I love "Fiction isn't reality" as a proship belief, I also saw someone using "Fiction isn't education" and I think that might be even better. Because the idea of fiction affecting reality has a different meaning to everyone and is pretty easy for antis to try and twist against us, but "You should not assume that any piece of fiction is meant to instruct you on how to think or act" is a much more clear-cut message that I think is harder to dispute. I like it a lot. Fiction is not education."

I've spent the last few years in a state far from home as my health has declined, and where a lack of medical access has become an increasing problem in my life. Without getting terribly personal about it, my living space as well as the context in which I moved here has been very traumatic, and on top of the worsening of my health, I have been desperate for a way out of the situation that has come to define the last few years of my life. Graciously, I have been offered a room by some friends, but it is several states away so I have to try and raise funds to move myself, my things, and my cat. I feel very good about it, and think with a little help I can really find myself back on my feet and working towards independence. I know it is a difficult time for everybody, and I've dragged my feet in setting up an official means of crowdfunding because it is embarrassing and stressful in a lot of ways to put myself out there, but I'm at a point where I need the help, and do not think I can raise funds on my own in time for the end of my current lease. I am an independent artist, and all of the money I currently make is through what little freelance commission work that i can accrue online. It is currently not really paying even for my basic needs, much less room to save. I'm hoping to save enough both for my move and to have a small safety net to help me get by until I can situate myself in my new location, to deal with the inevitability of medical needs, feed myself and my cat(who needs a specialized medical food), and contribute as best as I can to my new household.
