The project is specifically "Like a Sacrifice", which is a series of erotic short stories set in my world Rheoridin. I used to have a Volume 1 on itch as a book but have taken it down. It is all on AO3 now. This story would be considered part of Volume 2. #writesky

I am just really fond of this line I wrote for Nynnauramagorggia from Harvester. It is the crux for the story arc for the main character.

text: "The Hwallir of Rnanmir seemed to hold special interest in fir but made the mistake of assuming the nature of a fi’vech. To the south the culture recognized a type of person known as a “vend”—a person born of flesh that was beguilingly masculine or feminine yet revealed themselves in time to be the other—”vendamir” for those who later revealed themselves to be male and “vendafil” for those that later revealed themselves to be female—and so posited a curious question of which was Sable. Sable knew only loosely the intricacies of the south, yet knew enough to know that their vend were different not just in concept but in social position. Though far from regarded with disdain, it seemed to fir that the southern vend were still often considered inferior to the regular man or woman, a corruption upon a standard form, though it was not always expressed in ways fi could put fir finger on. It revealed something about his companion that made everything he knew, he wondered about, suddenly sharp and piercing. The way he spoke of the world as a place of cruelty. The disdain for their masters, for authorities. The distance in him. Alaric scoured through his memories. As child at a festival, a dancer dressed as the dark side of Nysera, the dancers who took on the spirits of the gods to let them walk the earth for one day a year, they paraded down streets in colorful costumes, singing and dancing and playing instruments and giving candy to children. He, who knew little of the strange ways of the moon as a child, calling them pretty with all the wrong words, only to be corrected by the vessel himself. Accept the splitting of self as an aspect of Nysera, they advised, yet they did not seem to take it seriously, as the moon's influence was not their concern and theirs was the domain of a goddess known for her steadiness." most of this is a very rough draft, sorry the "dark side" of the moon goddess Nysera is male (yes this maybe connected to the lyrics of that one song from Mulan) trans / gender diverse individuals are thought to be under the sway of the moon

Text: "[ Oct 01 2025 ] In response to the waves of censorship of erotic material, I have decided, in defiance, to invest myself into creating more of it. I'm deep in the yaoi mines, as the kids say. There is something so good about making stories about queer characters. I tend to heavily involve those internal feelings and insecurities about their queerness, the forbidden nature of their attractions, the shame of it, the fact that they feel predatory and undeserving of love, the contradictions and complexities of choice and desire and purpose that can feel overwhelming, the catharsis of realizing they are not alone. Deep in my gut I feel the sting that is a perception of being undesirable as a queer person. Regardless of my circumstances, there is still and probably always will be a feeling of impossibility that someone I found attractive would think the same of me. I can't express just how wonderful it is to write about those vulnerable feelings that happen when someone experiences the opposite. Sex—especially queer sex and pleasure—isn't and shouldn't be considered obscene. It is a way of connecting to other human beings, to share and celebrate and talk about something potentially beautiful and fundamentally human when the world at large demands only silence. I'm genuinely so glad my journey as an artist has led me to be more open about eroticism and the place that sex has in a story. It can be so many things and serve so many purposes in storytelling; it can be heartbreaking, terrifying, ominous, cathartic, tragic, unnerving, anxiety-inducing, vulnerable, trusting, beautiful, loving, fun, playful, adventurous, it can be symbolic, expository, metaphorical, it can be a warning, a prayer, an expression of grief, a meditation on embodiment, a small part of a bigger theme, and so many, many more things, as a fundamental question of human experience. - LSC"
