The clock I am mending was returned to its owner "in working order" and stopped quite soon. This happened twice. I've just disassembled it. It's dirty! Thorough clean, and then hardly any oil, and then we will see if it needs anything more serious. My guess is not, but I never know with clocks.

Trump Mathematics: the 23,000 who turned up to overturn the election results on Jan 6 outnumbered the 250,000 who heard Martin Luther King's "I have a Dream" speech. Wonderful to watch how he mulls the two figures over in his mind and finally gets to the conclusion: my crowd was bigger.

I think Trump is going to flee the USA to avoid jail, while maintaining he's winning and they are driving him to leave. He will look for a country that has no extradition treaty. Ecuador?
