Pretty sure that happens, but that's anecdotal. It's definitely my opinion from following the news.
However, a proper survey of convictions would shed light. Charges against women are rare, but there would be enough for comparison purposes.

Well, that true in that they are set up to refine our bitumen. But why should they not be able to handle the material if we refined it? They sell it. So can we.

That's a point. I'm not sure of recent cases, but I do remember one teacher when I was in HS. He was reprimanded. That's it. He even kept his job.
