It’s a shame movies don’t rely on soundtracks they way they did from the 70s to Y2K. Saturday Night Fever. Smokey and the Bandit. Footloose. Top Gun. Twister. Hell, the Top Gun sequel used Danger Zone again, and the Twister follow up actually hyped a pretty strong soundtrack

And now I’m afraid to look. Hell, I’m afraid to look at how old Kevin Bacon was when they made that movie! Definitely an excellent soundtrack! Movies today just don’t rely on the soundtrack the way they did from the 70s right up to Y2K.

At least my Logi MX looks like an old school corded mouse when charging, so I can use it. But the panic when that little LED goes from green to blinky red with no warning. Gimme a pop up on screen or even go to yellow at 10%. I normally stomp the gas at yellow lights so it’s all good!

I recall the Chinese modified older Town Cars into Hongqi luxury sedans for govt officials. 1st gen kept the rear clip mostly Lincoln, but the front clip looked like it belongs to a big Russian car like a Volga or something. Would not surprise me to learn that China sent some of them to North Korea.

Years ago I drove a pristine SC400, and it was great! So I figured between that and the MkIV Supra relations the SC300 should be good. It’s still pretty AF, IMO.

Similar age bracket, debating with the better half on acquiring the “indulgence” also. Had a ‘96 Integra I got new. Always dealer serviced and the service manager became a good friend. They had a GS Legend auto they kept for NSX customers as a loaner, and he’d let me take it as a loaner. Fun!

While I love that vintage Legend, the sedan just looks better to my eye than the coupe does. And you can still get the GS 4 door with the manual. Personally, my choice for a 90s personal luxury sport coupe would be a Lexus SC300 with the stick, adding on SC400 wheels and trunk lip spoiler.
