Now they're going to accuse whoever runs that account of wanting to hang Trump.

I have this queued up for the next time someone is murdered by a far right extremist and Trump n Co try to blame leftist rhetoric for the violence.

I'm not dodging the question. It's your fault for asking it.

Maybe the Iranians should have blown the tanker up and claimed without evidence that it was hauling drugs?

Being the loudest person in the room is the only talent this man has because he has the absolute worst takes on any subject he talks about.

Feels like it won't be long before US Forces are conducting strikes on suspected US citizens for suspected crimes in suspected areas of the United States.

I know this first hand.

Friend of mine that I've know for 30 years, who WAS a hardcore conspiracy theorist. I'd get to hear his rants about this or that (without evidence of course.)

Now that those conspiracies are actually real, he acts as if they're fine.

The only apology Trump should have received from Britain:

"There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old"

And there's a difference between a 15 year old and an 18 year old. It's a trip to the slammer and finding out that hardened prisoners tolerate pedophiles far less than the average Republican.

If 1) is true, then how come they don't cover Trump's failing cognitive functions? They would go 24/7 anytime Biden stuttered.

Hell, the only time it's even remotely mentioned in the media is when Trump reminds us that he took a cognitive test and the cow does in fact go "Moo".

Can't wait to see how they spin the optics of Bannon maintaining contact with the worst serial pedophile this country has ever seen.

Need more than that. They need to pledge to investigate Kavanagh and the rest of the goon squad.

In the States, 99% of interactions are conducted in English. There's no pressing need to learn another language and nothing that would restrict someone's ability to verbally interact with others in a very large geographical area.

Also doesn't help that the global trade language is English.

Learning German myself but it's still a difference between necessity and an elective. Most people in Europe learn another language because it has become necessitated for common interactions due to proximity. It'd be extremely restrictive not to learn an auxiliary language in Europe.

Sure but for myself in Illinois, I'm roughly 1200 miles from the border of Quebec or the Mexico. Compare that to say France where you're probably never more than 300 miles from a country that speaks another language.

It's the difference of living in an area that contains dozens of countries, all with separate languages, all within a small geographical location vs a few countries, speaking a few different languages, over a vast geographical location.

People have the memory of goldfish. If it's not happening now, they won't remember.

It's so bad that Trump can say one thing and then in the next sentence contradict himself and people will still ask for proof that he said that.
November 10, 2025 at 5:57 PM
Yep and caving in doesn't help.

Letting the Republicans fuck everything up quicken their demise. Dems swept this off year election cycle because the GOPs screwing over Americans was front and center. Giving in now allows the GOP to punt this away until after the midterms.

Trump was digging his own grave on the issue of government funding by refusing to fund SNAP while awarding himself $230 million for a lawsuit against himself and building a ballroom, all on the taxpayers dime.
November 10, 2025 at 5:16 PM
The plan was either Trump signs off on the ACA or the American people would continue to blame Trump and the Republicans for the current mess.

Now Republicans can hold the ACA hostage for a slew of terrible ideas they'll try to shoehorn into any ACA compromise.
