This is the original version form June of last year! While I am still super proud of it I needed to alter the cover work to be in line with all the others so made the call to scrap this.

It’s crazy to me this was one of the first paintings of this year! Though I am still super proud of it I think it’s time to I re-do it to match the rest of the splash art on the abyss book!

Their wee little face under all that armour. They are 5ft nothing, and their personality does not match their armour at alllllll. We love that for them though! Let him enjoy being a manic pixy dream girl as a death curse eats him from the inside!

For my current protect, where I re-write the abyss, the smallest “city” describes “Lex, the lawless court”. The location is broken down into various points of interest a traveler can visit when on their journey with built on block hooks and descriptors of the locals to go along side it. Example…
