“Libertarian” was a term coined by Joseph Déjacques to describe what we would refer to today as “Anarco-Communism”.

More recently co opted by idiots who think pays taxes is akin to committing a hate crime against them.

This is how I have always understood the term “tankie” is someone who deals in Stalin apologia and tends to support the authoritarian wing of communism as opposed to libertarian (the European term - not the Rand Paul style) or anarchist style of communism.

I feel most anarchists (beside ancaps/neo feudalists) land on the ancom on ansynd side of things. Really - most anarchists just don’t like the way communism has been implemented - through authoritarian top down strong man leader. That sort of hierarchy gets anarchists hackles up, com theory doesn’t.

I don’t think anyone has figured this out Dan, it seems like the only thing that has worked is interrupting him in real time with fact checking (ala Macron). The problem is once it’s out of his mouth it hits the amplification machine of the media and Pandora’s box can’t be closed after that.

Yeah I don’t get the ML and Anarchism infighting, they both embrace communism, anarchists just don’t believe in hierarchy within communism as the Soviet State had. A lot of 18th century anarchists considered themselves “communists” before the Soviet state created the current definition of Communism.

Also just looked at your profile and yeah anarchist are pretty anti imperialist and you are flying the Israeli flag so yeah probably not a good fit with anarchists.
