Switch 1 also only offered 1 size for their cartridges when it release so yes, they would.

That is because nintendo doesn't need to pay anyone for using the cartridge. Third parties do have to pay a fee on top of the split nintendo takes for allowing their game on their platform. While the speeds add to the cost, the storage size does as well.

Lmao it quite literally will. If im a indie developer and my game is 1 gb and the only option is 64 gb why would I pay for the default most expensive option? The billion dollar platform should accommodate developers they shouldnt have to work around them. Stop excusing nintendos bs

You realize the problem lies with a game being so small that getting a full 64 gb cartridge would objectively be a waste of money and can cause them to lose more money on their game. Most 3rd parties will keep using these till nintendo offers more sizes, so direct your complaints at them

Idgaf whether or not you get the game, neither am I excusing game keycards. But the hate shouldn't be directed towards the developers. it should be directed to nintendo for forcing developers to use these fake carts or make no money on their game.
