I wonder if things are bad enough now that people will understand the importance of voting at every level, every time, or are we actually going to need to have a second war for independence?

Mine does the same...I think its their way of trying to feel like / show that they are still relevant in your life. Annoying as hell, but I don't think it comes from a bad place

I definitely see your point. We need to really embrace the idea of a coalition that topples the republican administration and then work out our differences down the road.

This comment highlights the biggest problem. The Right may disagree with each other, but they believe in "Party Over Everything", they ALWAYS vote and ALWAYS for whoever has an (R). You can sort out differences once in power. You can't do anything from the sidelines. We could learn from that.
