We enjoy our silver muzzle senior dogs as much as we do having puppies around us. This week Legendary Broadsword of Obsidian "Kupo" celebrated his 12th Birthday. Kupo is the last dog standing from the B Litter. Storm and Colt from the A Litter are still with us though! They will be 15 in February.

Iko was returned to us a few weeks ago. Rather than find him a new home, we've decided to keep him. Iko has easily folded into our pack and he possesses the traits I want to see in a 9 month old puppy destined for a life in sports. Registered name is Obsidian's Innocent Until Proven Guilty.

Rogue Gaia Kuymal. He and I went high in trial at one of the first French course herding trials in the US. He worked on conservation detection dog projects. Earned a CDX. Earned and MX & MXJ. We weren't apart for more than 10 days during his entire life. Taken by osteosarcoma 4 March 2016.

I've been watching K9 SAR Sport growing in the East & Midwest for a couple of years. Also called Rettungshunde, the sport has been popular for decades. Finally a couple of clubs in the NW! Lark is doing very well in RH obedience & area search. #obsidianbelgians #sar #rettungshunde #dogsports
