I appreciate that you're pushing the issue, pointing out that MAGA is but one form of this evil, but attacking the entire machine at once is unsustainable, or at least without costs too grave to consider. My fear with you is that you're not exactly seeing the range for the peaks here.

Is it? If the problem is deeper than MAGA, then MAGA must be assumed to be the current form American fascism takes. Eradicating it should be priority one, yes, but if we can extrapolate what we learn from exorcising MAGA to apply to the rest of the machine, we'll be better able to dismantle it.
