I understand why thinking a 1/3 reduction in pay could be an option, but it's not feasible imo. In graduate school I lived pay-check (and supported my daughter as single parent). I worked beyond 40 work weeks. Housing was over 50%. So a 1/3 reduction means ~300 calories a day and limited gas for csr
