During the Last Great Time War, Torian did their best to protect the Archives but ultimately had to flee when the Daleks’ stormed the Library. Much like The Doctor, she stole a TARDIS and crammed it with as much Gallifreyan Heritage as possible.

Though this was mainly because they ran an orphanage in the Citadel and wanted to keep the same face for the children.

History starts with the young and Tors had a particular soft spot for them. This is where she first met The Doctor and The Master, and also taught them History at the University.

At some point, Tors was The President of Gallifrey but abdicated to go back to their first love of History.

Tors was singular among Time Lords by keeping the same face for multiple generations.

Born Chandrelle but later became known as The Historian or Torian/Tors; Tors was Gallifrey’s Time Chronicler at the University of Gallifrey and has written most, if not all of Gallifrey’s History Books since the beginning.
