It was poetic and melancholic when it needed to be, it was funny and zany when it needed to be, it was vibrant and intense when it needed to be. What an incredible adaptation! I am so happy I got to experience this in the theater.

Only Fujimoto could write something so funny, tragic, romantic, erotic, and with absolutely insane action, but it takes a large team of talented people to adapt it. The studio and staff working on this have absolutely knocked it out of the park.

As someone who has already read the manga, I knew how the story would go, I knew the shocking moments before they happened, because of this I was able to sit back and relax. Letting myself be absorbed by the beautiful visuals, incredible music, sound direction and fantastic animation.
