That sounds a bit redundant, apologies, of course it’s disappointing. I mean more that it leads to negative reviews and opinions of the work, when if sought out under the correct assumptions, that negativity wouldn’t be as strong, or hopefully not exist in the first place.

Precisely! I understand wanting to draw new and younger audiences to her works but I don’t think conveying them as something utterly different is the way. It’s often very disappointing for people to find out a book isn’t what they were led to believe while reading it!

I’m sorry to hear about your burnout, it’s horrendous to deal with. I’m at the 5yr mark & only just starting to find joy in things like I used to. There’s so little autism wise full stop really! I’m definitely going to make something, it will probably be mostly personal exp rather informative tho 🖤

That is my biggest pet peeve! The most insulting thing is that these people think I haven’t tried the first 3 things that come to mind? I’ve tried so much, done hours and hours of research, read books on what could help, etc 😤😂 I appreciate you! 🖤
