Teraflex transmission bash plate now installed in the Jeep TJ. Cut out a bridging plate from an old winch plate to join to the stock belly pan. Plenty solid. Much better than the stock one.

Started fabbing up a connecting plate to join the stock Jeep TJ belly bash plate with the Teraflex transmission bash plate. Plasma cut out a plate from an old winch plate i had lying about. Will likely weld the plate together rather than bolting.

Finally got around to installing the Teraflex Jeep TJ oilpan bash plate. Super stout bolting to the block and bellhousing. Next to fab up a connecting plate to run the Teraflex transmission bash plate without the belly up kit.

Next Jeep project is fitting the Teraflex oil pan bash plate, transmission bash plate and making it work with without the Teraflex belly up pan. Plan to cut up the original transmission bash plate to make the two play nicely.

Went to some Castrol GTX high mileage 15w50 in the Jeep TJ and my rear main seal leak is gone. Also reduced the noise from the tappy lifters. So far so good.

New shocks and steering stabiliser installed on the old mans Jeep XJ. Still going strong.

New centre speaker added to the musso. OEM factory option, came with a great wiring harness and seems too quality. Sounds great!

Replaced the rear sway bar links on the Jeep TJ I snapped last hectic 4wd trip with some new beefy extended ones. Bonus points the swaybar doesn’t rub on handbrake cables anymore 😀

Started redoing the front deck. Last decking managed 16 years. Slight redesign to help stop leaves accumulating. Lots left to do.

One water pump changed in the Jeep TJ with minimal swears. Looks like the gasket failed, not the pump. New one in anyhow. Should have changed it when I did the rest of the cooling system.

So sick of apps that think they have the right to clear my copy-paste buffer whenever they like. If I put it in there, I should decide when its cleared. Don’t even get me started on apps that grab focus on screen when they are backgrounded…
