Yeah that looks about right from what I remember when my mum used to make them… can’t bake myself sadly… did you put it on a preheated flour covered tray? I remember mum doing that, something to do with it cooking evening iirc - I’ll have to try and remember to ask if I remember next time I see her!

Definitely! It was doubly interesting for me because I did a project on the impact of the Russian revolution on Russian music/composers when I was at uni… my brother lucked out there 🤣 (it was a birthday present and he didn’t realise I’d previously researched it)
