Did farm and ranch until I could no longer physically keep up with the needs of the crops and animals. So, yeah, I care about them. Even the dumbasses that fell for the BS. We're still gonna need the food they produce.

The absolute peace that comes with working heavy horses. That bond of trust with a creature that large can be addictive. We couldn't wait to see each other every day, for mundane field work, or for actual getting dressed up work.
