Is this weird? Sometimes when reading romance I make one of the characters black or poc in my mind. I have aphantasia so like.. I don't know why but they become this way. Like Jasper in the chestnut springs series by Elise silver, hes white but in my head he's not wtf

I love visiting my family but it also starkly reminds me of how outside of their bubble I feel. Like.. I don't know who these people are and while I feel like sometimes I want to know more.. they never seem to indicate the same to me so I just.. stand silo'd. Wanting in but unable to bridge that gap
