that sounds quirky i will look into it! i was in a band with a guy who would tune like this & then for the 6th string just do a repeat of the note before it so screechy panic chords were easy & ive thought about doing something similar to that as well

i would like to do a tuning that capitalizes on that but especially in such a low tuning im wondering how weird i could get with it & it still be functional

i was in c standard for a long time just so it was easier to think of what the notes were but the band im in rn has me in b standard. the only time i ever did a super weird one was when i was 16 & learning to play never meant lmao. i just like having access to recognizable finger placement patterns

i have the exact opposite problem but ive been working on bridging that gap for me recently. guitar is nightmare to me.

theyre one of my favorite bands ever. heartbeat in the brain i would listen to every morning on the way to school for like two years lmao. i love them very much. & i say everything up till 2016 because they kicked out the only original member who wrote everything & stole the band from under her.

the world is a beautiful place & im no longer afraid to die everything up to 2016. i think formlessness, their split with deer leap, & whenever if ever very much capture this.
