This is the BS form letter I received for asking my trump endorsed rep to impeach
MIKE CAREY PROUDLY SERVING THE 15TH DISTRICT OF OHIO Dear Mr. Thank you for contacting me about your wish to impeach President Donald Trump. Your opinions help me better represent you in Congress, and I appreciate you taking the time to reach out. As you may know, impeachment is an action available to Congress in extraordinary circumstances. A member of the House may introduce articles of impeachment if they believe a government official commits high crimes or misdemeanors. These articles are debated in Committee and then brought to the floor for a vote if the majority of the body believes the evidence is sufficient. The House would then vote on the impeachment articles and if passed, the President or subjected official would formally be impeached. However, this does not mean that they are removed from office. The impeachment proceedings would be sent to the Senate for a formal trial. It would take two-thirds majority of the Senate to convict and officially remove the official from office. I must emphasize that I fear that the act of impeachment has become a crude political tool for those to target the sitting President or other government officials when they don't agree with their policy and ideology. This action needs to be reserved for serious crimes and the direst of circumstances. As your Representative, I will be sure to keep your thoughts in mind should this inquiry come before me in the House for consideration. Thank you again for contacting me about this bill. I want my kids to see the world with love, and to love others as you and mom raised me. I want to be proud of my country and be able to exchange ideas and participate in democracy. I want to feel confident that my wife’s job will persist despite the threats to government funding for disabled Americans. I fear that this blatant attempt to usher in a dictatorship leaves a bleak future at best for me and my family. I am not sure what I am hoping for with this message, other than to explain to you the existential threat to our way of life. I hope this provides appropriate context to my family’s incredible anxiety since the election where our country chose to give power to insurrection. I hope all is well. Love,

Hey Dad, I have hesitated to write this email because of how strained our relationship has become. I have attempted to come up with words to state where my family stands without agitating things further and can never quite get there. The events of today, however, have pushed me past my breaking point. We normally speak about economics as a safer topic, but this email will not speak to the damage being done there. The Trump administration is fully implementing project 2025. This has included horrendous hate speech to marginalized and less powerful humans, gross executive overreach, and open disdain for our Constitution. The military is being radicalized and prepared to be used at the whim of a man that wishes to dominate, and will never govern. The cabinet nominations that are dangerous and unqualified, the uninformed dismantling of our government programs, and the destruction of our world standing is leaving us vulnerable to international conflict. The proposed attacks on the sovereignty of our allies, the attacks on any form of free press, and the proposal of ethnic cleansing in Gaza for profit show that we are the aggressors. The events of today indicate that all of this malice and cruelty is the goal, and we are witnessing the first American fascist state. The meeting with President Zelenskyy was an ambush. It was engineered to make Ukraine cower in fealty or propagate more of Trump’s anti Ukraine false narrative. The latter occurred, but either were beneficial to Russia and Putin.
