There is likely a strong positive correlation between high psychological safety and high ego levels being present in any room. Sadly though, science tells us ego *development* only comes via trauma therapy - or going through hardships in life.

Do you have any source of that? One observation is that many if not most historic kings and rulers behaved quite immature from a human perspective - E3/self-protective not unlikely (Loevinger development model)
