One inconvenience a spow faces is getting its claws stuck in fabrics, sending it into a state of distress. When a spow is in distress, it sends out powerful psychic waves, causing distressing thoughts in individuals within a 5km radius. This stops when the spow's claws are freed.

It can wedge a pen or brush between its claws and sort of grip it that way, but it has also mastered the ability to use its claws as a rudimentary quill when a pen is not readily available.

Mostly climbing (poorly), but also writing poetry and painting Underdark landscapes since its verbal communication is limited to hissing, so it learnt to express itself in other ways. It's exceptional at doing the 'arm wave' dance.

End of October / beginning of November was just a bunch of stuff smashed together. Brain is still mush and am still so tired. I do enjoy drawing spiders in general, and have drawn Nal'dorltyrr Melarn (a drider in Forgotten Realms lore) for a D&D campaign book. Kar'niss is just a primary focus that I deeply enjoy drawing in my spare time.
