You know what, I've tried playing the game twice and quit both times about 6 hours in, so understandable
The main thing that draws me in about the game is the aesthetic and visual direction, so when I think about Control I'm like "mmmm that game has nice UI, I should play it again"

I did just get off the phone with customer care and at the end of it they said their usual "as always we're available to call 24/7" script and it took me everything not to flip tables, I know it's not their fault but also designing the app in this way is absolutely their fault

I don't carry any syringes at home, obviously no store is open at 2 AM to buy from and the doctor's office isn't open, so yeah, this seems like a situation that could have killed a lot of innocent diabetics, all because of a service outage and that they force an internet connection to boot the app

Anyways I only later found out about the huge AWS outage, and apparently the app requires you to connect to Omnipod's servers upon boot to check for updates, and since their servers were down I basically just had to stay up til 5 am retrying over and over, with no other way to get insulin into me

It got stuck around halfway and then said to contact customer support, meaning I couldn't get into the app to set up my insulin pump, leaving me without insulin
Called the 24/7 customer support line, and got a line disconnected tone
Went to their website to use the live agent - "AGENT OFFLINE"

It got stuck around halfway and then said to contact customer support, meaning I couldn't get into the app to set up my insulin pump, leaving me without insulin
