With all this movement coming and a lot of these guys having negative value…is there any chance of getting in on these deals and dumping the Joel contract (sorry, makes me sad…but we’re there) without losing literally every young player and pick?

Is it hyperbole to say that with any other play caller in the NFL the eagles would be runaway favorites to repeat as Super Bowl champions? With what percentage of play callers in the SEC or the B1G would that also be true?

It gets pretty repetitive in game, I’m an OG going back to the Altair days…and I was a little bored with it as I wrapped it up. Playing as Yasuke is def fun tho.

When we get far enough down the line to actually have the contender conversation, the quality of competition in the east is going to be a major factor. Honestly, this may be a .500 roster last year that’s a 47 win team this year.

I mean - typically always agree with the long view approach, but Joel’s contract is on the books for 3 more years after this one. The “future” won’t start until 2030, so every year until then is unfortunately about “this year”.

Every reported detail is important, but whether or not Aspiration was a “Team Affiliate” will have little to do with final penalties. The most damning piece of evidence (so far) is the clause in the contract that terminates the sponsorship if Kawhi plays for any team other than the clippers.

Utah has to finish bottom 8 one more year before they no longer owe their first rounder to OKC. Signing Grimes feels like a move that (in theory) puts that at risk…just doesn’t fit. I think they look to accrue assets as a dumping ground and tank it out one more year.

I think only guys I wouldn’t be excited about at 3 are Ace or Queen. I’d be fine with both in a trade down tho.

Feel like there is no chance it’s Ace. Tre, VJ, or Kon. Friend who was a scout (no intel whatsoever, no longer works in the league, literally just guessing) said Tre would be his guess if sixers stay at 3. Hoping he wasn’t just saying that because he knows of my adoration lol.

I think his handle and shot are elite. I’m betting with a bit more bulk and talent around him to create space the opportunities to get to the rim and success rate will both improve. His shot is more elite than anyone else’s “elite” skill in the entire draft. I think he could be a superstar.
