I used to find it fun that I was from Surf City. Now, I cringe any time I see Huntington Beach in the news (although I am excited for this new redistricting). I have seen HB and ACLU in the same headline way too many times #huntingtonbeach #liberal

I don't think we acknowledge how universal "Flatland" by Edwin Abbott Abbott is. I referenced it in my dissertation because it works well in describing phase space for HEAs. Keon West also used it to describe intersectionality with racism and other social issues #flatland #matsci #keonwest
