Thoughts on almost insignificant things:
Finally got my father's bicycle lantern working again.
He was born in 1901, which made me a late issue !
But back to the familiar 100 odd year old lantern, we live in such a brighter world today, but somehow I doubt it is a better one--perhaps even harsher !

Thoughts on almost insignificant things:
Finally got my father's bicycle lantern working again.

Reading or hearing the words of someone else (or even our former self) allows us to temporarily be in another's mind--not necessarily as an escape from our own--it makes us listen to something other than our own prattle, no matter if we choose to agree or disagree, it is other than our own prattle.
