well all mine are converted from historical minis and dollar store toys with a bit of greenstuff and elbow grease but if you wanna print thats not hard. the rules are free on the patreon and theres a ton of official STLs for a pretty minimal fee there as well www.patreon.com/Turnip28

my personal favourites are necropolis28 and turnip28 but theres a million weird little systems out there with dedicated fanbases that dont take quite the level of learning rules and buying fancy models that the ones you mentioned do, while remaining quite deep and leaving lots of room for creativity

so glad i discovered the indie miniatures stuff that sidesteps a lot of these problems while allowing me to be way more creative. its harder to find any group but also a lot easier to find a good group. maybe try checking that stuff out? way cheaper, way chiller, still get to play with cool toys.
