Herb Alpert and the TJB in Portland last night. Mr. Alpert was on stage playing and singing (even with his wife of 52 years, Lani Hall of Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66) for over two hours. His audience was enamored and showed it in multiple standing o's!

In Oregon, oil-based paint is treated as hazardous due to its volatile organic compounds(VOCs). Sometimes you have to work around the system. After searching at over 7 different paint stores I found one that would sell me oil-base enamel for our porch. It was in an unmarked can. It will last 20 yrs.

i felt very self conscious after doing this wonderful podcast because i was worried it was ol' cabel sitting on the porch telling all his classic ol' cabel stories.
