True! I'm more so wondering if Trump really was the 'status quo' by 2020. To me, Biden felt like a return to the status quo after Trump pushed things a lot. Biden was fucking awful and the status quo is not a good thing, but I do sorta see him as an exception to this rule of thumb.

Do you think Biden fits this category? I feel like he only won because people were so sick of Trump - which maybe is changing the status quo, but I think he coasted on the notion of "Okay he's just a regular president"
