Clean Up Spills: Don't let seeds accumulate on the ground. Use a seed catcher or tray to minimize spillage.

Regular Maintenance: Check and clean your feeders regularly to remove old seeds that can attract rats.

Consider Alternatives: Use no-mess seed blends or suet which are less appealing to rats

Elevate Your Feeder: Hang your bird feeders at least 5 feet off the ground and 8 feet away from any trees or structures rats could climb.

Use Rat-Proof Feeders: Invest in feeders with weight-sensitive perches or cages that only allow smaller birds to access the seed.

It's pretty much all gone now really . However I might suggest A roads just incase you hit some iced up country roads.
