My Office secured a final order stopping DMV Futures and its leaders from asking Marylanders for donations after we found they used kids to go door to door, misrepresented the programs they claimed to offer, and misused the money people gave.

My Office is suing the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for a new policy that could force thousands of Marylanders out of stable housing. HUD is slashing funding for permanent housing and adding unlawful conditions that punish providers and put vulnerable residents at risk.

I joined a bipartisan coalition of 36 attorneys general urging Congress not to ban state AI protections. States shield their residents against AI scams, misinformation, privacy violations, and tools that can harm children. We’re calling on Congress to strengthen protections, not strip them away.

I’m opposing the administration’s plan to weaken limits on hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), some of the most powerful greenhouse gases driving climate change. These chemicals are used in air conditioning and refrigeration, and rolling back existing rules would slow the nationwide effort to cut emissions.

Every survivor of sexual assault or domestic violence deserves help, no matter their immigration status. Today, we secured an agreement stopping the federal government from enforcing unlawful restrictions on certain legal service funded through the (VOCA) and the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).
