30 minutes, still no management 🥱

UPDATE: 20 minutes after we were supposed to start bargaining again, management still hasn't rejoined.

Is this what management considers professional behavior? Showing up late, leaving early, getting no work done?

Management has the power to end this strike TODAY. It is time for them to get serious about negotiating a fair contract.

Management has NEVER ONCE given us a bargaining session longer than a few hours and has consistently refused to schedule regular sessions. Other offices have bargained late into the night - why is OAD management unwilling to make this basic commitment?

This is disgraceful. Management's indifference to ending this strike is disrespectful not just to OAD Union members, but also to OAD's clients. The OAD Union has made huge movement on every one of our demands and has allocated hours upon hours to be available for bargaining.

Our members are ready to strike if that's what it takes to win a fair contract. Come join us for a picket on Monday, July 7, as we remind management that WE do the work and WE have the power.

Just about NOTHING:

NO new salary counter
NO improved healthcare
NO free speech in the workplace
And they again REJECTED job security for staff attorneys

Our members aren't going to settle for scraps. We are determined to reach a fair contract, but it's up to management to give us serious, reasonable counters. Otherwise, we are ready to strike.

With days to go before our contract expires, what has management offered us?
An insulting 1% pay increase (for just two years)
NO job security for staff attorneys
NO improved health coverage for pregnancy and childbirth
NO free speech in the workplace
