Lesson for Canada: UK PM Starmer - 'I will cut regulation to boost private sector.'

Meanwhile, Canada’s Federal Public Service grew 39% (2015–2023), while population grew just 12%. Yet, service delivery? Stagnant.

UK tackles inefficiency. Canada? Bloated bureaucracy.

Canada’s economy has been lagging G7 peers —painful drift made worse by the Liberals.

Our size could save us: we export more to the US than between provinces. Build roads, rails, ideas—catch up time.

The Fed has pointed to sticky inflation, a still-robust labor market & uncertainty around Trump’s economic policies, as cause for patience.

Canada’s Markets Keep Losing to the S&P 500. And It’s Not Just Cyclical

🔹 Sector concentration limits growth - TSX dominated by financials & energy.
🔹 Capital follows - Global investors continue to favor U.S. markets.
🔹 The CAD’s decline has widened the gap.

The claim "American banks can't operate in Canada" is false but highlights broader issues in Canada. Foreign telecom firms can't buy major players due to a 10% market cap. Banking licenses are slow and opaque. Overall, there regulations hinder competition.
