As China moves toward an all-in EV market, Tesla crashes there. Definitely I’d want to reward this with a $ Trillion pay package.

Hank is a great truck, I bought him thinking I’d do a restoration, but instead he’s been my go-to for any tough work or really bad weather for decades. He deserves to get restored and stop working for a living…

Stacked my cord of firewood. Filled my inside wood bins, checked the chimneys. Changed the carb on my snowblower, blew out the property drains that ice up. I’m retiring my ‘49 PowerWagon so I finished the front/rear lockers in my f150. Did my 6-month generator test. I’m ready winter: Bring it.

I can recall when this nepo-baby started his “twitter philanthropy”. Turns out that was just a trick to use a tiny fraction of his family wealth to build a following, that he now uses to gaslight Americans into thinking longer debt terms are game changers.

It’s just fucking amazing to me how many people have no idea about the history of the country they live in, and are willing to put that ignorance on display every day.

It’s the first really crisp night. I hate this time change, but it seems like a good excuse for the first fire of the season. My guy who has kiln-dried my firewood for 20+ years is retiring this year, so here’s to you Ed!

Given VA’s off-year statewide elections, we never get turnout like a national election. Early voting was pretty strong though, and noticeably stronger in blue strongholds than in GOP-leaning areas.

These two have been together since 6am. They came with me to a shop to work on a car, no leashes they just hung out, staying together even as they explored 5 acres. We came home and they did an epic 30 minute wrestling match. And then they came up to bed…rescue dogs are the best.

It sounds pretty maniacal now but when I was 18 I modified my Opel GT so that I could shoot bottle rockets out of the grill for just this reason. Had a whole little “arming” switch and a live fire button.

It was a a weird time for me personally. My kids were with me, I was miserable and i think trying to eat myself to death. I was going through a horrendous divorce and yet I have so many friends from that time that I talk to and see regularly...
