'Misery' was the first King book I read, and at first I was put off by all the detailed descriptions of everything, feeling like it takes him 3 pages to write what most writer do in one page, but I got used to it and enjoyed the book. His book 'On Writing' is also very good.

I will never buy a VW after they rigged their cars to cheat on emissions tests.

One of my favorite writers. So many interesting ideas.

This is what photo editing software is for. Cameras rarely capture the scene exactly, especially with a hi contrast ratio. You can make adjustments to get the image closer to what it looked like in real life.

Plus, a 4K Blu-ray looks and sounds much better than a 4K stream.

They've said FIFA is corrupt. This is just proof of that.

Nice to know Forged in Fire is on Samsung TV, but now that I've watched some, the shows are shortened by editing out sections to allow more time for commercials, which is disappointing.

Ooh! Good to know.

Love this show. And yes, some of the contestants obviously didn't do any research.

I loved it when it first came out. It was so daring and out there. But now, after all the advances in film making, its poor editing makes it hard to watch.

2001 needs to be watched in 4k and on a large screen to be appreciated. I watched it in Cinerama when it came out and never felt bored at all. I was disappointed in it once it was on TV because all the interesting details got lost.

Google finds a 'Cups and Saucers Vine' that looks nothing like this, and it's poisonous. I'm calling A.I. fake.

That's why I won't buy anything that FB or Insta advertizes. If it's something interesting, I'll Google it, and most of the time the real price is 5 to 10 times more expensive, so I know the ad is a scam.

Is Trump really forgetting, or just pretending to forget to avoid the facts, since he's alergic to the truth? Is he just lying about the economic statistics for his unquestioning supporters, who seem to believe anything he says?

I got covid for the first time three months ago, and with insurance the Paxlovid cost me $617. I did go from a positive test to a negative test in only 6 days, so it was worth it. I'm just lucky I could afford it.
