Are these even close to the same? If not any ideas? I took these pics 4 years ago and have asked around but unfortunately I didn't take a slore print or check for bruising (my party was in a rush to move on)

I am no mycologist but I've been fascinated by fungi and mushrooms since I was a kid. Don't know what this one is. My freind told me it's edible but I know better than to eat an unidentified fungi.
