side note to your side note - some of our teachers (70's/80's) took a more direct approach ie. hurling either the chalk or the duster @ their chosen target - and some were freakishly accurate :) ahh, the "good old days"

however because this will cost $$$ - developers will often try and get "someone else" to pay ie. council / ratepayers - which imo isn't right.
