That was so worth it. The teen survived despite moments of overstimulation. We made an escape pact if it got too much but we left at just the right time to beat everyone else to the taxis! #metallica

Hamas is a brutal terrorist organisation that remains in control of some Palestinian territory and continues to hold hostages. We cannot recognise a state where terrorists play a role in its government. It remains New Zealand’s view that recognition of Palestinian statehood is a question of “when, not if”. What we’ve announced is that the time for New Zealand to recognise is not now, when Hamas remains in control. Our decision is not an endorsement of Israel’s position. We oppose any actions by Israel to undermine the two-state solution and continue to call on the Israeli Government to comply with international law, especially as they relate to the safe, rapid, and unimpeded flow of aid into Gaza. New Zealand is neither pro-Palestine nor pro-Israel, we’re pro-Peace. We have consistently and repeatedly called for a ceasefire. That’s the only way to end this suffering. We want to see the parties get around the table and back to diplomacy. Very sad to read that Nigel Latta has passed way. He touched the lives of so many. RIP Nigel. 😢
Farewell my great love. You were never dying, just living until the moment you weren’t. You fought cancer with enormous bravery. You’ve spent your life helping others in need. And now it’s your turn to rest. NF xx On Tuesday the 30th of September Nigel passed away with the same dignity and positivity that he carried through life. He will be dearly missed by his wife Natalie, daughter Rina, son Kieran, and three stepchildren Elijah, Maya and Leon.
