I started reading The Turn of the Screw this week. I wish I didn’t realize so early in reading The Haunting of Bly Manor was loosely based on this novella. 📚

I finished reading The Exorcist, so I decided to watch the film. Glad they took some subplots out, but I still do not get what makes it so terrifying. The whole exorcism is basically a priest and a demon hurling insults at each other until someone gives up. 🙃

Just finished For the Thone.
I enjoyed the first book (For the Wolf) much more. Thone was a little disappointing after how engaging Wolf was. Throne also drags on a helluva lot more. I think I’m more than a little hung up on the climax happening too soon and each following beat dragging on too long.

Been having blank page syndrome with this account. I’ve wanted to make the best first post I can make. There really isn’t one lol so expect me to talk about books and video games here :D
