which is to say that with people that I'm really comfortable with, I'll just hang out and like, exist. I don't feel pressured to talk or engage, but if they're new there's always this gnawing "oh god, am I boring? should I be talking right now?" feeling in the back of my head

I'm really quiet and meek, but when I meet somebody new I might take on a sort of like, unpredictable energy? that might be difficult to follow

because when I meet someone new I'm always try to like, "impress" them or something
