Maybe. There were lot of hockey fans down there. They just didn’t like the panthers. They liked the teams in the city they/or their parents were born in…rangers, bruins, leafs, flyers etc. Lightning developed a base by winning. Maybe it works in S. FL as well. I have my doubts though

What’s more annoying is I lived in South Florida 2016-2019. Nobody gave a shit about that team while I was down there. Now they are all super fans

Wilson is a perfectly avg QB who pushes the ball downfield. This team is definitely better than last year with him but unfortunately that is not saying much. Tough schedule next year too. 7 wins maybe.
